Vibe App Terms

What the app is

Vibe is a read-only dashboard. It shows your own company's booking activity across your storefronts — a live summary, the last 24 hours, a per-storefront breakdown, historical trends and recent bookings — and refreshes while you have it open.

You cannot make, change or cancel a booking in the app, and nothing you do in it changes your company's data. The only thing the app ever sends is the registration it needs to deliver push notifications, and only if you turn those on.

Who can use it

The app is for people at companies that already use Vibe, and only with an account that company has issued to them.

  • Accounts are created and removed by your own company's administrator, in your company's own admin interface. Vibe doesn't create them for you, and there is no sign-up screen in the app by design.
  • Buying the app does not get you an account. If you have downloaded it from the App Store or Google Play without one, there is nothing you can do with it — speak to your administrator before you buy, not after.
  • Your sign-in is yours. Don't share it, don't let a colleague use it, and don't hand it on when you change roles or leave. If someone else needs access, your administrator can give them their own.

What you're looking at

The figures in the app are your company's commercial data — sales, revenue and booking detail. The account is issued to you, but the data belongs to your company, not to you personally.

Treat what you see as confidential. In practice that means the same care you would take with any internal sales report: don't show it to people outside your company, and don't take it with you if you leave.

Using it properly

The short version is: use the app as it's meant to be used, don't go poking at it, and don't break the law. Specifically, please don't:

  • Try to reach data that isn't yours. That includes another Vibe customer's data, and any storefront or engine your administrator hasn't given you access to. Working around the storefront filter, or the limits of the account you were given, is not on.
  • Probe, fuzz, decompile, reverse-engineer or tamper with the app or the API behind it, or try to find out how either works beyond using the app normally.
  • Automate, scrape or bulk-extract the figures, or feed them into another system, without agreeing it with us first. The app polls live systems every couple of seconds; automated traffic on top of that affects other customers.
  • Republish or resell what you see, or present it as anything other than your own company's internal data.
  • Use the app for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks the rules your own company has set for handling its data.

If you find a security problem, tell us — don't explore it. Good-faith reports are genuinely welcome and we would much rather hear from you than not. Report it and stop there; continuing to dig once you have found something is the part that isn't acceptable.

Accuracy, and what not to rely on

The numbers are live, and live numbers move. They're polled continuously from booking and supplier systems, so a figure can change from one refresh to the next, and bookings can be amended, cancelled or restated after the fact. Currency figures come through as supplied.

So: the app is for visibility, not for accounting. Don't make a financial, commercial or operational decision on the strength of a dashboard figure alone — your own booking records remain the authoritative version, and the app doesn't replace them.

If something looks wrong, the app will usually tell you so rather than quietly show you a bad number. It's still worth reporting.

Notifications

Notifications are optional and off until you turn them on yourself, from Settings → Notifications. We send two things and nothing else:

  • a short end-of-day summary of your own company's sales, and
  • occasional platform notices, such as scheduled maintenance or an outage.

No marketing, ever. You can turn them off in the app or in your device's system settings at any time; turning them off, or signing out, unregisters the device.

Availability and changes

We don't promise the app will always be available. It depends on your device, your network and our platform, and any of those can be down.

Features can change, be added or be withdrawn as the app develops, and these terms can change with them. The version published at https://www.vibe.travel/app-terms is always the current one.

Losing access

Your administrator can remove your access at any time — that's their call, not ours, and it's usually as simple as you having changed roles.

We may also suspend access where these terms are being broken, or where there's a security risk to your company's data or to the platform.

Ownership

The app, its design and the Vibe name and logo are ours. Nothing here gives you any right to use them beyond using the app itself as intended. Your company's data stays your company's.

Questions

Speak to your Vibe account manager — for access problems, for anything you'd like to do with the data that this page doesn't clearly allow, and for anything else about these terms.

Privacy is handled separately: what the app collects and why is set out at https://www.vibe.travel/privacy-policy/. General help is at https://www.vibe.travel/support/.
