Vibe strengthens strategic partnership with Capita Travel and Events

The partnership will continue to strengthen Capita Travel and Events existing investment in its travel technology platform, iris, benefiting from Vibe’s industry-leading travel technology booking platform, better serving organisations with smarter travel, meetings and events.

Capita Travel and Events and Vibe have been working together to integrate Vibe into its evolving iris travel technology platform for smarter business travel. By working with Vibe, Capita Travel and Events customers have access to Vibe’s seamless, reliable and efficient booking technology, which has been designed specifically for the travel industry. This partnership also addresses the growing issues surrounding third parties using a GDS to buy and sell air travel; Vibe has the ability to aggregate IATA’s NDC Standard, enabling Capita Travel and Events to customise its service offering to customers.

Capita Travel and Events customers will benefit from features including profile management API, distance-based searching, searching corporate office locations for hotels, multiple passenger searching, CO2 carbon footprint reporting, last seat availability, savings calculation and reporting, seat maps, branded fares and hotel chain searching.
