At Vibe, our technology may power the travel industry, but it’s our people who make it all possible. That’s why we created Team Vibe, a blog series dedicated to spotlighting the brilliant individuals behind our innovation, culture, and client success.
In each edition, we introduce you to a different member of the Vibe team, offering a behind-the-scenes look at their role, personality, and what makes them such a vital part of the journey.
You've now met our Service Desk Analyst, Luke, and Client Project Manager, Kathryn – so we're excited to introduce you to Paige, our Frontend Development Manager!
Paige plays a pivotal role in ensuring our technology is not only functional but also intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly. Known for her creative mindset and collaborative approach, she brings clarity and consistency to the development process, keeping user experience front and centre.
Let’s dive in!
Paige, Frontend Development Manager
Q: What does a typical day in your role look like?
A: Each day is dynamic, but my focus is on balancing client engagement with team coordination. I spend time reviewing client communications, collaborating on project updates, and ensuring that ongoing initiatives – both with new and existing clients – are progressing as planned. A large part of my day also involves cross-department collaboration, aligning resources, removing blockers for my team, and keeping projects on track toward delivery. It’s a mix of client conversations, team support, and problem-solving.
Q: What does client satisfaction mean to you?
A: Client satisfaction is about more than delivering a finished product - it’s about building trust and long-term partnerships. For me, it means really understanding a client’s goals, ensuring the process feels smooth and collaborative, and delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed expectations.
Q: How do you collaborate with other internal teams to bring our tech to life?
A: Collaboration is central to my role. I work closely with back-end Developers while keeping client requirements front of mind, helping bridge the gap between technical functionality and user experience. From scoping through to launch, I make sure communication stays open, and everyone is aligned on functionality and user experience.
Q: How do you try to incorporate the company values into your work – Versatile, Innovative, Brilliant, Engaging?
A: My role naturally requires versatility, whether I’m collaborating with colleagues across departments, meeting with clients from around the world, or quickly shifting focus between projects. I strive to be innovative by finding better ways to solve problems, brilliant in delivering quality work, and engaging by building strong connections with both clients and teammates.
Q: What’s one thing people might not realise about your role or day-to-day tasks?
A: People often think my role is just about building websites but it’s much broader. I’m often the link between clients and internal teams, making sure expectations, requirements, and delivery all align. It’s about keeping projects moving and ensuring we deliver functionality that really works for the client.
Q: What’s your favourite thing about working here at Vibe?
A: I love the opportunity to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues while helping shape our technology platform. There’s something really rewarding about being part of that journey from ‘wouldn’t it be cool if…’ to ‘look what we built together.’
Q: What’s one fun fact about you that would surprise your colleagues or clients?
A: Back in the ’90s, I took part in a Red Nose Day ‘Walkies’ event with my grandma’s Irish Wolfhound – who was taller than me at the time! During the walk, I met Pam St Clement, better known as Pat Butcher from EastEnders.
Q: What’s one frontend trend or tool you're excited about right now and why?
A: I’m particularly interested in AI-powered design-to-code tools, like Google’s Stitch. They’re helping streamline the process of turning designs into working interfaces, which saves time and reduces repetitive tasks. For me, the real benefit is that it frees up Developers to focus on creativity, problem-solving, and delivering a better user experience.
Q: To wrap up, what’s something you hope people take away from working with you?
A: I hope clients and colleagues alike feel my commitment to delivering quality and my enthusiasm for supporting successful outcomes. My goal is to make the process feel collaborative, transparent, and efficient, so people walk away knowing I was fully invested in helping them achieve their goals.
We hope you’ve enjoyed learning about Paige and the dedication she brings to shaping user experiences. She’s a key part of how our technology comes to life and an invaluable part of the Vibe story.
