Role: Marketing & PR Manager

Reporting to: CCO

Location: Stevenage

We are looking for a Marketing & PR Manager to create, develop, own and deliver the marketing & PR plan for Vibe in line with company objectives. As brand champion, to ensure that both internal and external communications are consistent and impactful, and that financial investment is both accountable and efficient.

Responsibilities and duties

  • To create and deliver the annual marketing & PR plan.
  • To brief and deliver marketing assets that are consistent with the brand and will achieve cut through messaging across the range of channels; social, events, email and web.
  • With the support of the PR agency, to ensure that targeted placements are achieved and messaging consistent with brand aims. To monitor the efficiency of PR activity through regular reviews.
  • To work with partners to identify appropriate sponsorship opportunities that will attract both leisure and corporate prospects.
  • To support the business development team on paid Linkedin activity that specifically targets top prospects.  To ensure that all paid campaign and organic content supports key messaging and delivers against targeted engagement.
  • To generate leads for the business development team through paid search, events and referral activity. To seek out new ways of attracting prospects by getting to know their behaviour and the environments they are in.
  • To fully utilise the CRM system to deliver relevant communications to existing customers via email.  To test other formats that will potentially increase engagement.
  • To manage the annual customer satisfaction survey, ensuring that is continues to be relevant and valuable.  To champion the actioning of any key learnings across the business.
  • To continue to evolve the website and ensure that it is relevant for all prospects and customers in all regions.
  • To work with HR to support all internal communications to ensure that the brand is understood and well received by all staff.

People Management

  • To develop and manage the part-time Digital Marketing Manager, through objective setting, coaching and annual reviews.
  • Be available to all team members companywide for advice and guidance on all things relating to marketing and the brand.
  • Live and breath the company values and demonstrate core brand behaviours.

Education, experience and skills

  • Travel industry experience.
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Travel Technology or IT Management desirable.
  • Experience of managing marketing & PR agencies.
  • Event management.
  • Knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing.
  • Digital marketing with a particular emphasis on LinkedIn and Paid Search.
  • Market research.
  • Management capability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, both verbal, written and presentation.
  • Ability to engage and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with curious approach seeking new improved ways of delivering goals.
